310 Group is looking for an experienced and dependable Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment and takes pride in safe, efficient, quality work.
Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently

Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation

Follow project plans, specifications, and safety procedures

Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Work effectively with supervisors and other crew members

Assist with general jobsite duties as needed
Requirements

Position Summary
We need someone who can stay on top of schedules, communicate clearly, and keep things running smoothly day to day.

• Managing timelines
• Invoicing & basic office work
• Communicating with team + customers
Qualifications:

310 Group is looking for a dependable and motivated Directional Drill Locator to join our underground utility construction team. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Operate locating equipment to accurately track directional drill heads underground
-
Monitor drill head position, depth, and direction throughout the bore
-
Communicate clearly with the drill operator and crew
-
Read and understand bore plans, drawings, and utility markings
-
Identify and avoid existing underground utilities
-
Assist with setup, cleanup, and general jobsite duties
-
Maintain and properly care for locating equipment
-
Follow all company, utility, and jobsite safety procedures
-
Complete daily paperwork and production documentation as required
Requirements

Valid Driver’s License — Required

Previous directional drilling or locating experience preferred
-
Experience with underground utilities is a plus
-
Ability to read plans and follow bore paths
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Reliable and dependable attendance

Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures

Job Title
Directional Drill Operator
310 Group is looking for an experienced and dependable Directional Drill Operator to join our underground utility construction team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, hardworking, and experienced in operating directional drilling equipment.
Responsibilities

Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment safely and efficiently
-
Perform underground utility installations including conduit, pipe, and related infrastructure
-
Work closely with the locator to accurately follow planned bore paths
-
Review and follow bore plans, site plans, and project specifications
-
Set up and operate drilling equipment, pumps, tooling, and related equipment
-
Monitor drilling conditions and make adjustments as needed
-
Identify and safely work around existing underground utilities
-
Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
-
Maintain a clean and organized job site
-
Communicate effectively with the locator, laborers, and project supervisors
-
Follow all company, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements
Requirements

Valid Driver’s License — Required

Previous directional drilling experience preferred

Experience operating HDD equipment is strongly preferred

Knowledge of underground utility installation
